A couple searches for hope inside a widening rift that's threatening to pull them apart.
A young couple works through a deepening struggle that’s dividing their relationship, searching for a way back to hope on the other side of it. Shot with Katie Blackburn and Joey Thompson leading the cast, in the fall light around Greenville, South Carolina.
The film was Thomas and Cole Harp’s official submission to the 1917 One Shot Challenge, where an entire short has to unfold in a single continuous take. Rather than settle for one, they pushed the constraint further, staging two single-take stories side by side instead of one, a structural experiment that became the film’s signature.
